Colony Collapse

Multiple parallels can be made between Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) and the deterioration of societal norms. There are many contributing factors to CCD including chemicals, disease, malnutrition, climate change, the commercial bee-keeping practice of eliminating diversity and disregard for the environment. These same factors are contributing to the breakdown of our society as portrayed here in photos of urban decay. As pollinators face increased environmental stresses, the negative impact on the health of the planet and on our lives will become even more apparent.
